There any many ways to travel to Dunkerque :
TRAVELLING BY TRAIN
If you arrive at Paris, the best way to go to Dunkerque is to take the
high speed train (called the TGV) at Gare du Nord station directly to Dunkerque
(1h30 - 2h travel) or via Lille. The Dunkerque station is located in the
city centre and is at easy walking distance from the University.

Take the Eurostar, cross the Channel and stop at Calais Frethun, then take
a train or a bus to Dunkerque.

TRAVELLING BY CAR
There are several motorways to go to Dunkerque by car:

from Calais (and from UK using the Channel tunnel)

from Paris. You can either take the A1 motorway to Lille, then when you
arrive near St-Omer, take the A26 motorway to Calais

from Lille, take the A25 motorway
TRAVELLING BY PLANE
To get from somewhere in the world to Dunkerque is not a difficult task.
The best way is to fly to Paris (Charles de Gaulle Airport). From there,
you can directly take the high-speed train (called TGV) to Lille and then
take another train to Dunkerque. YOU DO NOT NEED TO ENTER PARIS.
